VetsinTech Employer Event Powered by Twilio
7 Jul 20 @ 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM PDT
FreeOver 250,000 veterans transition out of service every year, 80% of them enter civilian life without a job — meanwhile there are millions of open roles in tech. VetsinTech is partnering with Twilio to provide vital resources to the veteran community to close this employment gap. We are offering this free webinar to introduce you to five people who have successfully transitioned into tech roles and to provide you with key skills, including storytelling and resume building, which will help you stand out while applying to and interviewing for jobs at mission-driven companies.
During this event, we will address common challenges you may face and how to overcome them. Additionally, we will teach best practices for making a great first impression with your resume and effectively highlighting your skills during interviews. Whether you are employed and thinking about making a shift or unemployed and actively seeking new opportunities, we encourage you to join.
