CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS
Over 80% of Post-9/11 veterans leave the military without a job or follow-on career
250,000 men and women leave the military every year. The vast majority do not have a plan for a post military job, let alone a post military career. At the same time, the demand for professionals in web development and cybersecurity professions is increasing exponentially. With some traiining and the right networking opportunities, Veterans are an ideal fit for these critical vacancies. VetsinTech helps to train not only active duty servicemenbers and veterans, but also the spouses. By providing valuable trainiing at no cost to veterans and their spouses. And for those who want to work for themselves as entrepreneurs in tech, VetsinTech has programs to expedite thier success as well.
Over 90% of Veterans who have participated in VetsinTech programs currently have jobs.
Our education programs combined with our Employer Coaltion Meetups put veterans face to face with tech recruiters who are actively seeking veterans – adding the human dimension – as opposed to submitting job applications and resumes in the virtual domain where feedback is rare to non-existent.
OUR SUCCESSES ARE YOUR SUCCESSES
The Fall Veteran’s Day Gala is VetsinTech’s major fundraising event to support our critical mission. Sponsorships, in-kind gifts, and individual contributions have a direct impact on our programmatic offerings and on our ability to improve the lives of the veterans nationwide, but especially in our local community.
