Calling all veterans interested in starting a data science career. VetsinTech is excited to offer FULL SCHOLARSHIPS for Intro to Data Science: Python Fundamentals training exclusively for service members, veterans, and spouses of either.

This is a 3-week course with classes every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evening from November 30 to December 17 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm MT. Training will be conducted on a Live Online delivery model; our Live Online program will be delivered by your same incredible instructional staff and will still allow you to fully engage with your fellow classmates via Zoom.

CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

Students will go from zero knowledge of Python to being able to use Object Oriented Programming to complete a project that covers the following: 

• Undertake basic numeric processing in Python  

• Utilize the built in python data structures to organize data and solve problems.

• Read, interpret, and write Python functions

• Design and implement Python programs in an object-oriented manner. 

Coding Languages & Overview

• Python (Using JupyterNotebook)

• Data Cleaning and SQL

• Building Visualizations

• Final Team and/or Individual Projects
