The Symantec Security Awareness Advocate (SSAA) training program is a basic entry level offering intended to test and prime your interest and aptitude in cybersecurity. The course concludes with the SSAA exam which is geared toward those interested in cyber, but who dont yet possess the technical background.  

VetsinTech provides this training free of charge to transitioning members of the US Armed Forces, veterans and their spouses.  Upon completion, for those who complete all of the training modules, VetsinTech will also cover the fees to take the SSAA exam online.

After you watch the videos and pass the SSAA online exam, you will receive the SSAA digital credential and have the ability to share it on your resume or LinkedIn profile to demonstrate that you are serious about a career in cyber security.
