Matt Driskill has spent over 20 years in service to his country, first as a Naval Flight Officer and now as an Air National Guardsman. He has accrued over 2,000 flight hours in the F/A-18F and E/A-18G, flying in Operations Iraqi Freedom, Odyssey Dawn, and Enduring Freedom. Other roles include serving on multiple investment boards to evaluate emerging technologies for the Department of War and as a member of the Secretary of the Air Force strategy and congressional relations team. In his civilian career, he oversees strategy for Modern Technology Solutions Inc, a defense technology solutions company based in Alexandria, VA focusing on disruptive technology, international expansion, and government relations. He also serves as a Senior Advisor to the Milken Institute's Veterans Community Initiative, which he founded. He is a Presidential Leadership Scholar, a National Security Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, former member at the Council on Foreign Relations, and board member for several non-profit institutions. His educational affiliations include an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, and masters' degrees from Auburn University and the Naval War College.
