This month we invite you to join us on November 3rd for our annual VetsinTech Gala at the Marines' Memorial Hotel in San Francisco as we celebrate Veteran's Day and our organization's ten-year anniversary! This year's event is in-person and we invite members of our community as well as our partners to join us on this festive occasion as we help raise money to fund scholarships for our Veterans. This Veteran's day, join us for an in-person event at the Marines' Memorial Club in San Francisco to celebrate Veterans' Day at our 8th Annual Fall Gala "Vets 2.0 Beyond the Transition." The evening will commence with an open bar cocktail reception and silent auction. Our leading sponsors, host committee, and special guests will join us at an exclusive VIP cocktail reception. The gala will feature an exquisite dinner with entertainment, awards, and a live auction, followed by two hours of the open bar as we celebrate our service members and gala attendees. 

This Friday, VetsinTech held an in-person pitch event sponsored by JPMorgan Chase & Co. at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center here in San Francisco. We were pleased to showcase five startup finalists founded by military veterans.

Congratulations to the three winners: SEPP Networks in 1st place winning $25K, Pixly in 2nd place winning $10K, and Ocean Observations Group in 3rd, winning $5K.

We would also like to thank the entire JPMorgan Chase & Co. team for their support and for sponsoring this event, as well as our distinguished panel of judges: Alex McKindra, Erik Brocklebank, George Ploss (Oracle Netsuite), and Ikram M. (VetsinTech).

At the JPMorgan Chase & Co. Military Spouse Entrepreneurship Summit in Washington, DC, presented in collaboration with partners the Military Spouse Chamber of Commerce, Blue Star Families, the Institute for Veterans and Military Families - IVMF, military spouse business owners had a pivotal platform for guidance and insights. Speakers included Mark Elliott, the Managing Director and Global Head of Military and Veterans Affairs for JPMC, CNN's Brianna Keilar, VetsinTech CEO Katherine Webster, and many others who offered a wealth of knowledge and experience. We were honored to be part of this great group and event.

Our friends at The Veteran Fund are hosting the third annual $100,000 Veteran Pitch competition with a special keynote from Brad Feld, co-founder of Techstars. Any veteran, service member, or military spouse can compete to win a $100,000 investment from The Veteran Fund. Five finalists will be chosen to pitch live in front of a global audience at the November 15th online event, and all five finalists will be considered for investment.
